It’s been a fairly long time, hasn’t it? I wanted to have more regular progress updates, yet I usually like to include actual pages with them, and literally every page I could have shared would spoil a huge reveal that happens after the pages that have already been previewed. Instead, here’s the redesigned cover of Firebreak: Volume One, combining elements from earlier covers into one. I really like how it came out.
The comic art is now complete. Work is starting on lettering and the puzzlebook, both of which are projected to be done before the end of the year.
We really tried to get this book out before Christmas, and we almost succeeded, yet the time frame we settled on would have resulted in people who did not order signed books getting theirs before Christmas and people with them getting theirs after, which seemed unfair especially when this project involves puzzles to solve, so we decided to add a bit more to the puzzlebook and send everything out in late Dec/early Jan.
So, while we do apologize for the delay, we’re using that time to improve the actual product.
For now, you should finally be getting the surveys in the next 24 hours.

$2625. Extremely happy to get this amount. We might not have quite cleared the entire thing of stretch and backer goals, yet a full $610 past the initial goal is still pretty damn great.
The PDF of Firebreak #1, for those who backed for that, will be sent out on July 1st. The Firebreak: Volume One PDF will be sent out late July-early August. Everything else is projected to ship late November-early December.

We’re only $11 away to the first stretch goal of $2500, adding a bit more original art to the Anomaly! if we can get to $2825 in the next 24 hours, however, this originsl art turns into four brand new story pages! We’re on our way to getting both!
On the backer goal side of things, the “77 total backers” goal was reached, meaning that a ”Tournament Scorecard” now joins the Memorial Invitation and the Tournament Flyer with all orders.
I’m looking over the remaining goals, and the Twitter ones are going a bit slower than anticipated. So, for this final day, I’m changing them up a bit to hopefully make it doable:
Now, the Twitter only needs five more followers (down from 10) for the first card, and the pinned Tweet has changed yet the amount of remaining retweets that are needed hasn’t, so once that tweet hits 10 retweets, the other normal card unlocks. (Meaning, those who retweeted the first can also retweet this and it’ll count agein.)
As for the final extra backer goal item, only two more pieces of fanart are required for the ”misprinted” card and puzzle to be unlocked.
Finally, to clear up a bit of confusion, people getting the “combined” version of the comic will get these items too, just not separately. Their contents, including each associated puzzle, will be found within the pages of the combined volume, complete with slightly different puzzle solutions (leading to the exact same answers and info) to reflect them not being separate items.

We’ve finally hit 100%, with under a week to go! In the last few days alone, we got our very first piece of fanart by @WhisperLove10 on Twitter, and cleared the ”project shares” goal, which has unlocked the ”Memorial Invitation” item for all backers!
If we can get the following done before the campaign ends:
The entire Case File will unlock, adding six total extra items for all backers, each adding an entire new puzzle to The Anomaly!
