A minor delay, yet some great news.

Things took a bit longer to settle down than I expected, and we’re finally getting things back in place. I originally thought we’d have things ready enough to start shipping like now, yet it didn’t work out that way.
The bad news, we’re now looking at July.
The middling news, the entire ending had to be fully rewritten in order to separate it from the coincidence outlined in the last update.
The good news, this means four extra story pages in everyone’s comic, so while another delay has to happen, it’s a delay to create more content, at no extra cost to you guys.
And now for the great news:
I have secured funding for the final three issues. They will be each coming to KS after they’re fully complete, so this will never have to happen again, and these delays will be a thing of the past.
Here’s to finishing the full Firebreak miniseries.
A lot has happened.

Back in January, about when I sent that last update with the delay, my father died.
He was there for me all my life, and was an integral part of both funding each issue and getting the comics shipped out. If it wasn’t for him, the original two issues wouldn’t have been able to happen at the funding amount that they did. You can even see him in one of the cars on #2 along with his twin brother, who we also lost recently.
After his death, I lost access to the Kickstarter funds as they were in an account under his name. Nothing was lost, to be clear, they just were not available for me to use since then, with me just getting access to the account today.
As for the comic itself, it was practically complete when this all happened, however now it’s a bit… less so. Shard was at least partially based on my dad, and the ending, which was already finished before any of this happened, was going to have him injured in an existentially horrifyingly close way to how my dad died. I’m going to need to have those pages redone with practically an entirely different ending, as I can’t bear to release (and then have to follow up on in future issues) a comic where that specific thing happens.
The new estimated release time is May. I know we’re past the estimated time by a lot, yet most of my time lately has been getting my affairs in order and figuring out how I’m going to handle shipping on my own, let alone if people will even want to fund any possible future issues if they have to be at the “real price” without my dad able to subsidize them.
Here’s to… I don’t know anymore, myself.
Firebreak #3 delayed indefinitely due to medical emergency.

As the title states, the issue has been delayed with no estimate of release due to medical emergency. We’ll try to get it out when we can, however it is an incredibly unsure situation as of this moment.
Apologies.
Survey update

Surveys are either sending out tonight or Monday morning, they’ve been out of my hands since yesterday.
Here’s to an extremely annoying week of wrestling with obscure Backerkit add-on interactions.
Surveys should be sent to everyone tomorrow morning.

There was a weird add-on issue that prevented the surveys from going out on schedule (don’t worry. It doesn’t affect the actual book completion timeline), which I have managed to solve in a very roundabout fashion, yet it’s solved. They’ll be sent out tomorrow morning once I’m finished creating the mess of custom BackerKit tiers that it entails.
Here’s to finally getting that done.
